lazy october evening, been feeling pretty crap today due to distance from home, missing people, bloody getting the bus so early! and then total disaster of attempting to do heat transfer printing, but alas my lovely friends & craig have made me feel so much better :) as has hearing my beautiful cat purring down the phone! (so loud!) But yes decided it was time to share what I absolutely am lurrrrviiiiiiing from london fashion week from what I've seen so much, spring season always excites me so much and already I can't wait thinking about pretty things to wear! Looking at Rykiel and her marsh mellow hairdo's, bigger is definitely better, I blateys need to get back into my backcombing!

gosh how I love sunday mornings, mean's I finally have ample time to just scour away on the internet and gather fresh inspiration! Esra Roise's work is absolutely delicious, just look at the colourr all drippy and nice mm! I think today will definitely be a painty day! I'm learning a new kind of printing tommorow on my print rotation aswell which is quite exciting! Hopefully be able to create all sorts of crazy pretty things. Right now I'm chilling out to cut copy with some hot blackcurrent though, goodtimes! :)

mmmmm what pretty colours. found out there is a MAC shop in Brighton yesterday. going to be dangerous!

so I know I haven't blogged in like forever, this is due to the fact since moving to Brighton it took a fricking age to get the internet because there was one guy doing it for like 300 people in our halls? that changed all the settings & stuff, yawns, but anyways its pretty swish here! course looks amazing, though a bit hardcore, already they're asking for like 40 pages of work this week or something, need a major restock on my supplies I think! ^^ was friday night, when after queuing for an hour me and emelia FINALLY managed to catch faithless live, which was pretty mental! Been told my project for this week will actually be submitted as part of white night arts fest I think which is quite exciting, all the first years textiles I think might be projected or something, but I'll keep you posted. big kisses everyone! xxx

GOSHHH lets talk about my new favourist fashion designer's spring/summer 2010 collection. Rachel Antonoff's latest collection is a mix of forties inspired prints and tops and smocks. Accesories were (liberty print ballet shoes...AMAZING...can't even explain how exciting these look! I will try find a photo again) and floral headpieces. Inspiration behind the show and concept comes from Rachel's own theatre background, and the idea was to be like a place rehearsal for an imaginary play called 'magic to do'..mmm! have to say I'm getting quite excited to start drawing/sewing/designing again...summers been so long

mmmm luella 2010 is here...and apparently looking a lot more grown up. The collection looks much calmer and more 'Sunday Best' than crazy lost in the woods princess. The big bows, simple makeup and small details such as cut out shapes and peter pan collars helped her to retain her essence I think. Her colours are bright and pretty, and the shapes more defined with princess style coats, in plain pastel shades (lemon, lipstick, red, teal, camel and sugar pink)..LOVEEEE IT !. ♥

just about right! Tommorow I am packing my room up (well starting) ...I move in 5 days to Brighton leaving everyone & thing..pretty sad! & also dying my hair finally completely platinum..ee! 

bit sad, one of my best friends laura leaves for uni in the morn, going to miss her lots & lots! 

went to see 500 days of summer today on new street. so so beautiful if you havn't already seen it...goo!
